Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of dishes and specials. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely communication with kitchen staff. Upsell menu items and beverages to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities. Serve food and drinks efficiently, maintaining high standards of presentation, sanitation, and food safety. Manage guest inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure overall guest satisfaction through attentive service. Assist with food handling, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to uphold sanitation standards. Use reservation platforms like OpenTable to manage bookings and optimize seating arrangements for maximum efficiency. Qualifications Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightclub settings. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally. Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation enhances your ability to answer questions confidently. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours. Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and processing payments accurately. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. $22.59 - $27.20 per hour
