Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and personable Delivery Drivers Server Encounter Person to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will be the friendly face and efficient communicator who ensures seamless delivery and exceptional guest experiences. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver food orders promptly while providing outstanding customer service, engaging with guests, and supporting the restaurant's hospitality standards. This position offers a unique opportunity to combine delivery expertise with front-of-house guest interaction, creating memorable dining moments for our patrons. Responsibilities Safely and efficiently deliver food orders to guests' locations, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are maintained. Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing excellent customer service during delivery and in-person encounters. Assist in setting up and maintaining the cleanliness of the delivery area, including food handling and sanitation practices. Use POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process transactions, handle cash or credit payments, and manage order details accurately. Upsell menu items or specials when appropriate to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities. Support restaurant operations by bussing tables, assisting hosts/hostesses with guest seating, and managing food safety protocols. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, maintaining high standards of hospitality and food industry best practices. Qualifications Previous experience in food service, restaurant operations, or hospitality is highly preferred, especially fine dining or nightclub environments. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus. Strong time management skills to handle multiple deliveries and guest interactions efficiently. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and positive communication. Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety regulations within the food industry. Ability to perform basic math for cashiering and cash handling tasks accurately. Experience in serving, bussing tables, or host/hostess roles is advantageous. Basic kitchen experience or culinary background can be beneficial for understanding food preparation standards.
