Summary of Position:
Service of food and/or beverage, delivery of any food and/or beverage item. This task is to be handled in a friendly, courteous, helpful, timely, and professional manner - resulting in a very high level of guest satisfaction.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Check breakfast buffet and dining space before, during and after shift for proper set up and cleanliness. Take guests orders Set up and tear down the food service buffet Welcome and greet guests. Make all our guests feel comfortable and let them know you're there to personally take care of them. Replenish food on the buffet counter and beverages as necessary and check with guests for overall satisfaction. Maintain the cleanliness and order of the executive lounge Clear and reset the tables after each use. Perform any general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products as assign by supervisor to adhere to health standards. Perform other duties as requested. Maintain clean service areas.
Qualifications:
Be able to communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of our guests. Must have a basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation Knowledge of appropriate table settings and silverware. Ability to transport large trays weighing up to 40 lbs. Ability to operate beverage and toast equipment Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours).
