As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional hospitality and ensuring a positive dining experience. • Set up & tear down outdoor patio during warm weather
• Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly demeanor
• Escort guests to their tables and provide them with menus
• Assist in seating guests according to their preferences and the restaurant's seating capacity
• Buss tables after guests leave and reset
• Help run food to tables
• Assist customers and food delivery drivers with takeout orders
• Communicate effectively with guests, servers, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station and lobby area
• Monitor the flow of guests and manage waitlists during peak hours
• Provide excellent guest relations by addressing any concerns or special requests Skills To succeed in this role, you should possess the following skills:
• Strong hospitality skills with a genuine desire to help others
• Previous experience in food service industry preferred
• Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
• Knowledge of POS systems, preferably Pixel Point POS, is a plus
