Job Summary Join our dynamic team as an Event Crew Member and be at the heart of unforgettable experiences! In this energetic role, you'll play a vital part in setting up, executing, and wrapping up a variety of events, ensuring every detail is perfect for our guests. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create memorable moments, whether it's a corporate gathering, wedding reception, or community celebration. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your hospitality skills while working in a lively, fast-paced environment that values teamwork and professionalism. Responsibilities Assist with event setup and breakdown, including arranging tables, chairs, linens, and decorations to meet event specifications. Support food service operations by bussing tables, refilling stations, and ensuring guest areas are clean and organized. Provide excellent guest services by greeting attendees, answering questions, and addressing any needs promptly. Handle food handling and food preparation tasks in compliance with food safety standards to ensure quality and hygiene. Support catering operations by serving food and beverages, including wine knowledge and fine dining etiquette when applicable. Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems for transactions related to event services or food sales. Maintain a high level of cleanliness in all event areas and assist with food safety protocols throughout the event duration. Requirements Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality environment is preferred; culinary or banquet experience is a plus. Strong guest relations skills with a focus on customer service excellence. Knowledge of food handling, serving techniques, and food safety regulations. Experience with food service equipment such as POS systems; wine knowledge or catering experience is advantageous. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting tables or moving supplies. Hospitality background including restaurant experience or hotel service roles is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills with a positive attitude; previous coffee experience or fine dining exposure is beneficial.
