Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements, ensuring a friendly and professional atmosphere. Take accurate food and beverage orders, communicating clearly with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation. Serve meals, beverages, and desserts efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness. Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are upheld through proper handling, serving, cleaning, and bussing procedures. Respond promptly to guest inquiries or concerns, providing excellent customer service to enhance their dining experience. Assist in food preparation and kitchen duties as needed, supporting the culinary team in meal assembly and sanitation tasks. Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including table clearing, sanitizing surfaces, and organizing service stations. Qualifications Previous experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or the food industry is highly desirable. Knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, sanitation practices, and dietary requirements. Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask efficiently during busy periods. Experience in food production, culinary arts, or dietary departments enhances your ability to serve effectively. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and clear communication abilities. Ability to work well in a team environment while maintaining attention to detail in food preparation and service tasks. Familiarity with serving techniques such as bussing, plating, and portion control is beneficial.
