Overview Join our dynamic team as a Busser, Food Runner, and/or Host — a vibrant role that combines the energy of delivering exceptional guest experiences with the warmth of welcoming visitors. In this position, you will be the friendly face that ensures smooth food service operations, assists with food handling and preparation, and creates a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help foster memorable dining moments and uphold our commitment to hospitality excellence. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills across food service, customer interaction, and restaurant operations in a lively environment. Responsibilities Deliver freshly prepared dishes promptly from the kitchen to guests' tables, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met. Assist with food handling, including plating, garnishing, and maintaining proper food safety protocols throughout service. Greet guests warmly upon arrival, manage waitlists, and seat customers efficiently to optimize flow and minimize wait times. Support servers by bussing tables, clearing dishes, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to uphold hygiene standards. Coordinate with kitchen staff to relay special requests or dietary restrictions accurately. Use POS systems such as Toast to process orders and payments accurately. Provide excellent guest service by addressing questions, offering menu recommendations, and ensuring a positive dining experience from start to finish. Skills Proven experience in food service, restaurant operations, or hospitality environments. Strong knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety standards. Familiarity with POS systems like Toast for order processing. Experience with food preparation, plating, and basic cooking techniques is a plus. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail. Previous banquet experience or hotel hospitality background is advantageous. Knowledge of restaurant equipment such as kitchen tools and bussing supplies.
