As a Cook/Server/FSW employed by LGC, you will have the opportunity to showcase your culinary talents by preparing and presenting dishes that meet our high standards of taste, quality, and presentation.Key Responsibilities:
Food Preparation :
Prepare and cook a variety of menu items following established recipes and cooking techniques. Ensure all dishes are made to order and meet our quality standards.Menu Development:
Collaborate with the head chef or sous chef to contribute to menu planning, recipe development, and the creation of seasonal specials.Quality Control :
Monitor the freshness and quality of ingredients and take responsibility for maintaining kitchen equipment and utensils in excellent condition.Timely Execution:
Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure the timely preparation and delivery of dishes during service hours.Sanitation and Safety:
Adhere to all food safety and sanitation standards, including proper food handling, storage, and cleanliness of workstations.Teamwork :
Work collaboratively with other kitchen team members, including sous chefs, line cooks, and dishwashers, to maintain a smooth and efficient kitchen operationAdaptability :
Be flexible and able to adjust to changes in the menu, kitchen procedures, and special dietary requests from customers.Qualifications:
Previous cooking experience in a similar establishment is preferred. Previous server experience required for Server role Culinary training or degree from a culinary school is a plus but not required. Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, knife skills, and food preparation methods. Attention to detail and a passion for creating visually appealing dishes. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Job Types:
