In this role, you'll be the vital link between the kitchen and the dining area, ensuring our guests enjoy seamless service and a welcoming atmosphere. As a busser/food runner you will receive our busser rate plus tips. Responsibilities Clear and reset tables efficiently to maintain a clean and inviting dining space. Assist servers by delivering food promptly from the kitchen to guests' tables, ensuring accuracy and presentation. Support food preparation and plating when needed, helping maintain smooth kitchen operations. Help keep the dining area organized, including setting up tables and restocking supplies. Uphold food safety standards by handling dishes and utensils properly during service. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to coordinate timely service. Provide friendly guest interactions, answering basic questions about menu items or wait times. Skills Prior experience in food service or hospitality is a plus but not required; enthusiasm is key! Knowledge of food handling, safety practices, and restaurant operations enhances your effectiveness. Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and engage with guests. Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Experience with food presentation, bussing, or banquet service can be an advantage. A positive attitude with a willingness to learn about culinary techniques and customer service.
