Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service, a strong understanding of food and beverage offerings, and the ability to create memorable dining experiences for our guests. This role requires effective communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff and fellow servers. Duties Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, providing excellent customer service throughout their dining experience. Provide menu recommendations and upsell items to enhance the guest experience. Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and assisting with sanitation efforts. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns or special requests. Assist with food preparation as needed, demonstrating knowledge of culinary techniques and food handling practices. Foster positive guest relations by addressing inquiries or complaints promptly and professionally. Skills Previous experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant environments is highly desirable. Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy setting. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and hospitality. Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices within the food industry. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Experience in serving, bussing, host/host roles, or other related positions within the restaurant industry is beneficial. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated during shifts.
