SAGE Dining Services® is seeking a Full-Time Prep Cook and Line Server to join our team at a Private Day School. This inclusive group works together to create quality cooked-from-scratch meals that the school community appreciates and shows their gratitude for. At SAGE, food and people come first. The teams at each of the schools we serve work together to provide safe, healthy, and varied meals that reflect the tastes and preferences of each community. At the same time, our home office team works together to offer weekly pay, comprehensive year-round benefits, and continuous training. Schedule Monday through Friday. 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Available overtime for catering events with prior notice. School breaks are off, but summer employment is available during camps hosted at the school.

Interact cheerfully with SAGE guests and Team Members and provide service with a smile. Prepare assigned menu items in strict accordance with SAGE recipes. Clean, restock, and replenish serving lines and stations to ensure our guests enjoy amazing dining experiences. Clean all work areas and customer service areas on an ongoing basis. Use proper food handling, storage, and sanitation techniques always (HACCP). Assist in training new culinary Team Members. Endure exposure to extreme temperatures; intense heat and freezing cold. Adapt to additional duties as assigned by management. What you'll need: Experience as a Prep Cook or Cook preferred, but not required. Ability to understand and execute recipes and instructions in detail. Ability to properly set up a buffet or serving station. Experience in customer service strongly preferred, but not required.
