Highland Hills Assisted Living is seeking dedicated and friendly individuals to join our dining services team as Waitstaff. This role is essential in providing an excellent dining experience for our residents by serving meals in a timely, courteous, and professional manner.
Key Responsibilities:
Meal Service:
Set up dining areas, serve meals and beverages, and ensure residents receive their food promptly.
Resident Interaction:
Engage with residents in a friendly manner, addressing their dietary preferences and special requests with care and professionalism.
Cleanliness and Organization:
Maintain cleanliness in dining and kitchen areas, including clearing tables, washing dishes, and ensuring all equipment is sanitized according to health and safety regulations.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service and a positive dining experience for residents.
Compliance:
Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including food handling procedures and personal hygiene standards.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a restaurant, hospitality, or healthcare dining setting is preferred but not required. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate and patient demeanor. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Dependability and a strong work ethic. Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, and carry items for extended periods. Capability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
