Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Server to join our vibrant restaurant team! As a Server, you will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional guest experiences through attentive service, expert food and beverage knowledge, and a warm, welcoming attitude. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will help create memorable dining moments for our guests while ensuring smooth operations behind the scenes. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your hospitality skills in a lively environment that values teamwork, efficiency, and guest satisfaction. Duties Greet guests promptly with a friendly smile and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted and fulfilled Recommend menu items, upsell specials, and promote featured dishes to enhance guest experience and increase sales Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring overall satisfaction Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to support smooth restaurant operations Utilize reservation management tools like OpenTable to coordinate seating arrangements during busy hours Requirements Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or nightclub settings Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; familiarity with OpenTable is a plus Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally Ability to handle cash transactions accurately with basic math skills for cashiering and cash handling tasks Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Culinary or kitchen experience is advantageous but not required; willingness to learn about menu offerings is essential Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts while maintaining high service standards Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and nights as needed in a fast-paced environment Join our team where your passion for hospitality meets endless opportunities for growth!
