Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Busser & Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced hospitality environment. We are hiring to cross train for barbacking, bussing and food running. While food running, this person plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. While bussing, this person continuously clears tables, cleaning guest areas and placing dirty dishes and drinkware at the appropriate places. While barbacking, this person learns the flow behind the bar and anticipates the needs of a bartender as to keep him/her moving quickly in their role. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for doing a good job. Duties Deliver food from the kitchen to guests in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met. Assist bartenders by providing support during busy periods, including stocking ice, stocking wine, washing wine glasses, emptying trash. Clearing tables, wiping down tables and chairs, sweeping up crumbs, emptying trash, filling water stations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining areas and patio. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any guest needs or concerns promptly. Familiarize yourself with menu items, specials, and ingredients to provide informed recommendations to guests. Adhere to food handling and safety regulations at all times to ensure guest health and satisfaction. Requirements Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, including roles such as bussing, barbacking, catering, or banquet service. Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude and willingness to learn about the winery and customer service excellence are essential for success in this role.
