In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for guests, delivering exceptional dining experiences through attentive service, menu expertise, and a welcoming attitude. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements, ensuring a positive first impression. Present menus and provide detailed descriptions of menu items, including daily specials. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality. Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently maintained during service. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling, cashiering, and processing payments via OpenTable or other POS systems. Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas. Address guest inquiries promptly, resolving issues professionally to ensure guest satisfaction. Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to deliver seamless service experiences. Support host/hostess duties when needed by managing reservations and guest flow. Experience must be 18+ years of age Previous restaurant experience is preferred, especially in fine dining or upscale environments. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable. Experience in food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations. Strong background in customer service, guest relations, and hospitality principles. Knowledge of food industry standards including food preparation, serving techniques, and basic math skills for cash handling. Experience working in nightlife settings such as nightclubs is a plus. Ability to manage time effectively in busy service periods while maintaining attention to detail. Proven ability to upsell menu items and enhance guest experiences through excellent service.
