Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service and have a strong understanding of food and beverage offerings. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests, ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally. Duties Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, providing excellent customer service throughout their dining experience. Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Aloha POS or Micros POS systems, ensuring all details are captured correctly. Provide recommendations on menu items, including upselling specials and pairings to enhance the guest experience. Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner while ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation and timely delivery of meals. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and assisting with sanitation practices. Process payments accurately using cash handling procedures and basic math skills to ensure smooth transactions. Assist with hosting duties when needed, including seating guests and managing reservations through OpenTable. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles is preferred, with fine dining experience being a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with guests and ensure their satisfaction. Knowledge of food handling practices, sanitation standards, and safety regulations within the food industry. Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment. Basic math skills for processing payments and handling cash accurately. Experience with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is highly desirable. Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation techniques is an advantage. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also demonstrating independence when necessary. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the restaurant's operational needs.
