Job Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Busser/Food Runner, where your energy and enthusiasm will help create memorable dining experiences for our members and guests. In this vital role, you will support the front-of-house team by ensuring tables are cleared promptly, assisting servers with food delivery, and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment. Your positive attitude and quick responsiveness will contribute to a lively atmosphere that keeps members engaged and satisfied. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in food service, customer interaction, and hospitality operations. Duties Clear and reset tables efficiently to maintain a smooth flow of seating and service. Assist servers by delivering food and beverages promptly from the kitchen to members' tables, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met. Support the kitchen team with basic food handling and preparation tasks as needed, maintaining food safety standards. Keep dining areas clean and organized, including bussing dishes, wiping down surfaces, and replenishing supplies. Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff to relay member/guest orders and requests accurately. Help manage guest needs by providing friendly, attentive customer service and addressing any concerns promptly. Support banquet or special event setups when required, ensuring all food service areas are prepared to high standards. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key. Knowledge of food handling procedures, safety standards, and basic food preparation techniques. Strong communication skills are essential for effective teamwork. Experience in bussing, serving, or supporting banquet events enhances your candidacy. Ability to stand for extended periods, move quickly between tasks, and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. A background in hospitality or hotel service is advantageous; culinary or kitchen experience can be beneficial. Commitment to providing excellent guest services with a friendly attitude and attention to detail.
