Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and relay them promptly to the kitchen staff. Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions about menu items, specials, and dietary options with enthusiasm and clarity. Prepare and package to-go orders carefully, verifying order accuracy and presentation standards before handing them over to guests. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area, including counters, condiment stations, and order pickup zones. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and team members to ensure timely delivery of orders and guest satisfaction. Handle guest inquiries via phone with professional phone etiquette, assisting with order placements or questions as needed. Qualifications Prior experience as a host/hostess or in food service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is key! Strong communication skills to engage confidently with guests and team members. Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS enhances efficiency. Experience in guest services, serving, or hotel environments is a plus for understanding hospitality standards. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of restaurant operations, food safety practices, and customer relations principles. A positive attitude, excellent phone etiquette, and a genuine passion for creating guest satisfaction.
