Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables with a friendly demeanor Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring special requests are noted Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales through suggestive selling techniques like OpenTable reservations or wine pairings Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, including daily specials, dietary options, and beverage selections to assist guests effectively Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are upheld during food handling, serving, and bussing duties Assist with setting up dining areas, bussing tables efficiently, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to ensure smooth operations Handle cash transactions accurately with basic math skills and process payments securely through POS systems Provide exceptional guest services by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and fostering positive guest relations Support the team during busy hours by managing multiple tables while maintaining a lively and energetic attitude Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs or upscale restaurants Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for reservations management Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest satisfaction and restaurant revenue Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods without compromising service quality Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures Previous experience in host/hostess roles or bussing positions is advantageous but not required Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment Basic math skills for cash handling and POS transactions with accuracy and attention to detail Strong communication skills to collaborate seamlessly with kitchen staff and front-of-house team members Join us as a Server where your passion for hospitality meets an energetic team dedicated to delivering unforgettable dining experiences!
