Description:
Perched on our second floor circular balcony—surrounding a massive stone chimney—the Ram's Head Bar is the perfect location for family-friendly drinks and snacks with stunning views of Mt. Hood and Mt. Jefferson. The extensive beverage menu features a historic and locally-inspired cocktails selection, a variety of hot drinks to warm up after playing in the snow, and Mt. Hood Brewing Co. microbrews. Greet and seat guests, take beverage and food orders, clear tables, fill water glasses, perform stocking and side work, carry loaded food trays and provide outstanding guest service. Essential Functions Possess thorough knowledge of the restaurant. Proficient menu knowledge. Know and follow all restaurant guidelines and policies set forth in training manual. Follow all OLCC and proper food handling guidelines to ensure a safe and sanitary environment. Greet and seat guests as needed. Clear and reset tables, refill water/coffee and tea. Proper completion of side work. Deliver loaded food trays and serve tables. Successful completion of order process, pre-bussing as needed. Proper delivery of soiled dishes and linens to kitchen. Re-stock for next shift. Responsible for handling cash sales and correct change. Actively participate in RLK and Company's Health & Safety Program by identifying and reporting potential hazards, reporting incidents, and promoting a healthy workplace Exercise stewardship of all RLK and Company facilities and environments, ensuring that efforts are made to reduce, reuse, and recycle when the opportunity is present. Present a professional, quality image at all times. Regular and reliable attendance.
Requirements:
Must have service-oriented personality. Must be detail-oriented with the ability to set and meet high customer service standards. Must use proper etiquette while conversing with guests. Must have detailed knowledge of all menu offerings. Must be proficient in up-selling of products and services. Must know and follow all proper service procedures. Must know and follow all proper reservation procedures. Must have valid OLCC and Oregon Food Handlers permit. Physical Requirements Must be able to lift 40lbs Must be flexible and capable of bending, twisting and kneeling. Must be able to work in tight spaces with balance and poise. Must be able to work on feet, stand and walk for up to 8 hours at a time. Must be able to keep up with the pace of the department demands of the position.
