4Summary:
Delivers food to tables and prepares the food line and maintains clean food service in areas in the restaurants. The intent of this position description is to provide a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities performed by this position. Employee(s) may be required to perform position-related tasks other than those specifically listed in this description.Essential Job Functions:
Delivers food to tables/bar. Monitors the quality and presentation of the product being produced out of the kitchen. Replenishes garnish items and communicates with the Sous Chef when food items are low. Carries dirty dishes to the dishwashing area. Replenishes/orders supply of napkins, silverware, dishes, and to-go containers; maintains condiment area. Maintains sanitation including serving trays, counters, floor, walls, sink, carts, and beverage service units. Assists waitstaff/bartenders as needed by, filling cups and glasses, filling condiments, seating guests, or similar duties. May make coffee, stock supplies and beverages, and clean other areas. Keeps floor area around the food line clean. Removes dirty plates, glasses, and utensils; wipes table tops and chairs with sanitized cloth. Other duties as assigned.Spirit Mountain Standards:

Techniques and methods used in basic food service cleaning procedures. Safety precautions as they pertain to basic food service cleaning procedures.Required Skill in:
Determining the difference between clean and dirty dishes and areas. Performing cleaning techniques. Communicating both orally and in writing. Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with others.Education, Experience, Licenses, Registrations, and Certifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent, and three (3) months of food and/or beverage experience, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Low-security gaming license issued by the Grand Ronde Gaming Commission. State of Oregon Food Handler's Certificate. If applicable, the State of Oregon Liquor Control Commission Server's Permit may be required. Must be at least 18 years of age. Due to the nature of the interactions with other employees and the public we serve, employees may be required to provide documentation of or receive, certain health vaccinations.Environmental Factors and Conditions/Physical Requirements:
Work is performed in a food service environment, with routine exposure to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or tobacco smoke, and occasional exposure to extreme cold or heat and potentially toxic or caustic chemicals. Subject to high levels of noise. Work is subject to frequent standing and walking, with occasional sitting, bending, reaching, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Work is subject to frequent use of hands to finger, handle, feel, and reach with hands and arms.Equipment and Tools Utilized:
Equipment utilized includes a personal computer, standard office equipment, box knife, cardboard crusher, and tools and equipment normally used in cleaning and maintaining food and beverages areas such as coffee urns, , push carts, trays, bus tubs, utensils and serving plates, telephone, audio/video equipment, and two-way radio.
