As a Host, you will warmly welcome guests, manage reservations, and foster a welcoming atmosphere that keeps patrons coming back. Duties Coordinate between kitchen staff and servers to expedite food orders promptly while maintaining high quality standards. Ensure all dishes leaving the kitchen meet presentation and safety standards, adhering to food handling and safety protocols. Greet guests with warmth and professionalism, manage seating arrangements, and assist with reservations to optimize table turnover. Communicate effectively with team members to prioritize orders, address special requests, and resolve any service issues swiftly. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting stations for incoming guests. Support food preparation tasks when needed, including plating or garnishing dishes to enhance presentation. Uphold hospitality standards by providing attentive service that emphasizes positive guest interactions and satisfaction. Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred; familiarity with kitchen operations is a plus. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques is essential to ensure health standards are met. Strong communication skills are necessary to coordinate effectively with kitchen staff and deliver excellent customer service. Background in hospitality or hotel services can provide a solid foundation for creating welcoming guest experiences.
