Job Description
This is a rare opportunity to join the WildWood team! We're looking to fill TUESDAY and
SATURDAY
shifts, and relief as needed. About us WildWood Cafe is a small business in Mcminnville, OR. We are fast-paced, fun and customer-centric.Our work environment includes:
Food provided Relaxed atmosphereDuties:
- Greet customers and present menus
- Make recommendations and answer questions about menu items
- Take food and drink orders from customers
- Enter orders accurately into the POS system
- Deliver food and drinks to tables in a timely manner
- Ensure customer satisfaction by checking in with customers regularly and addressing any issues or concerns they may have
- Clear tables and clean up after customers leave
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently
- Assist with food preparation as needed
- Assist with bussing tables and cleaning the dining area
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment in the kitchen and dining area
Skills:
- Excellent guest service skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with customers, listen actively to their needs, and respond appropriately to their requests or concerns
- Basic math skills, including the ability to calculate bills accurately, make change, and handle cash transactions efficiently
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude and professional demeanor
- Ability to work as part of a team, including communicating effectively with other servers, kitchen staff, and management
- Attention to detail when taking orders, delivering food and drinks, and handling cash transactions
