In this vital role, you will act as the bridge between the kitchen and front-of-house service, ensuring that food reaches guests promptly, accurately, and with a smile. Responsibilities Safely handle and transport food items from the kitchen to dining areas, adhering to food safety standards and safe lifting practices Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including plating and garnishing to ensure presentation quality Manage heavy lifting requirements for food trays, boxes, and supplies using proper manual handling techniques Serve dishes to guests efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service and communication skills Support bussing duties by clearing tables quickly and resetting them for new guests Operate POS systems Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and communicate any special requests or issues Requirements Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is highly preferred Knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, and proper manual handling techniques Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and consistently follow safe lifting practices Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests Experience with food preparation, serving, bussing, or kitchen operations is a plus Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous Previous banquet experience or hotel experience is beneficial but not required Demonstrated commitment to customer service excellence and guest satisfaction Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their hospitality career while contributing to a lively guest experience.
