Server/Cashier

This role combines the art of exceptional customer service with efficient cash handling and food service operations. Whether taking orders, serving delicious meals, or processing payments, you'll be at the heart of delivering a lively and welcoming atmosphere. Duties Greet guests warmly, provide menus, and answer questions about food and beverages to enhance guest satisfaction. Take accurate orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted. Serve food and drinks promptly, maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness. Process payments efficiently through cash handling and cashiering procedures, including basic math calculations for bills and tips. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests. Assist in food preparation or kitchen support when needed to ensure smooth service flow. Upsell menu items to increase sales and promote specials or high-margin dishes using OpenTable or other reservation tools when applicable. Skills Proven experience in food service, restaurant operations, or hospitality environments with a focus on guest relations. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for order entry and payment processing. Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle guest inquiries professionally and courteously. Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Ability to multitask effectively with excellent time management skills in a busy setting. Experience with fine dining or nightclub environments is a plus, demonstrating adaptability to different atmospheres. Basic math skills for accurate cashiering, bill splitting, and cash handling responsibilities. Pay:

$8.75 - $10.00 per hour
