In this energetic role, you will play a key part in creating an exceptional guest experience by providing friendly, efficient service and supporting the front-of-house operations. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival, manage reservations, and coordinate seating arrangements to optimize flow and guest comfort Assist servers with delivering food and beverages promptly, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met Maintain cleanliness and organization of host stand, dining areas, and service stations to uphold high hygiene standards Use POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders, payments, and manage table assignments efficiently Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow, address guest needs, and resolve any issues quickly Provide exceptional guest services by answering questions about menu items, restaurant policies, and local attractions with enthusiasm Support the front-of-house team during busy periods by serving as a liaison between guests and servers, enhancing overall guest relations Qualifications Previous experience as a host or hostess in a restaurant setting is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally in person and over the phone Experience working with food service operations, including serving or assisting servers in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus; willingness to learn new technology quickly Excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills to create a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure Previous hotel or guest services experience is advantageous but not mandatory; a passion for hospitality is key Join us in delivering memorable experiences through energetic service, genuine hospitality, and teamwork.
