Job Overview Join the Sonis team as a Server and become the heart of an energetic, guest-focused dining experience! In this role, you will be the face of our restaurant, delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring guests enjoy a memorable visit. Whether taking orders, serving food and beverages, or managing guest relations, your positive attitude will drive the success of our vibrant dining environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your hospitality skills in a fast-paced, fine dining or nightlife setting. Duties Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation Manage guest inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure a positive dining experience Assist with food handling, food preparation support, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in compliance with sanitation standards Utilize reservation platforms like OpenTable to manage bookings and optimize seating arrangements Support kitchen staff with basic food prep when needed and uphold food safety protocols at all times Qualifications Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments; fine dining or high volume restaurant experience is a plus Strong knowledge of POS systems and cashiering procedures Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally Demonstrated ability in upselling, sales techniques, and guest relations to enhance revenue opportunities Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Knowledge of food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations Experience with OpenTable or similar reservation management tools is preferred Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and transaction processing Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment Join us as a Server where your energy fuels memorable experiences!
