Ice Cream Server/Cashier

Job Summary Looking for daytime weekday help! Join our team! Responsibilities Greet customers Prepare and serve ice cream cones, sundaes, floats, and other frozen treats with speed and accuracy Operate POS systems to process sales efficiently and accurately Handle cash transactions, including cash handling, making change, and processing card payments with attention to detail Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in food preparation areas, counters, and seating areas Restock supplies, clean equipment, and ensure food safety protocols are followed at all times Experience Previous experience in food preparation or food service environments such as quick service restaurants or cafes is preferred but will train right individuals Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate register operations Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Experience working in fast-paced settings such as a quick service or fast-food restaurant is beneficial Ability to manage time effectively while multitasking during busy periods
