POS Aloha POS Full Job Description Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and friendly Server to join our team. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring guest satisfaction. You will take orders, deliver food and beverages, and assist with bussing tables. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Duties:
- Greet and seat guests in a timely and friendly manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately
- Enter orders into the Aloha POS system
- Deliver food and beverages to tables promptly
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area
- Provide excellent customer service and address any guest concerns or special requests
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately
- Utilize OpenTable or similar reservation systems to manage guest reservations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in food service or customer service preferred
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of proper food handling and safety procedures is a plus
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
