Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and attentive Fine Dining Server to join our upscale restaurant team. In this role, you will deliver exceptional guest experiences by providing personalized service in a sophisticated environment. Your expertise in food presentation, wine pairings, and attentive service will ensure guests enjoy memorable dining moments. As a key ambassador of our hospitality standards, you will foster guest relations, uphold food safety protocols, and create an inviting atmosphere that encourages repeat visits. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary knowledge and customer service skills in a fast-paced, elegant setting. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to enhance their dining experience Present menus, recommend dishes and beverages, and suggest upselling opportunities to maximize guest satisfaction and restaurant revenue Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely and precise delivery to the kitchen Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met through proper food handling and kitchen collaboration Manage guest inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and foster positive guest relations to promote loyalty Assist with bussing tables, resetting for new guests, and supporting host/hostess duties as needed Maintain knowledge of restaurant offerings including wine lists via OpenTable or similar platforms to enhance guest engagement Experience Previous fine dining or upscale restaurant serving experience is highly preferred Strong background in food service with knowledge of the food industry standards for sanitation and safety Experience using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and cashiering Demonstrated ability in upselling, sales techniques, and guest relations to elevate the dining experience Familiarity with food preparation, food handling, and basic math skills for accurate cash handling and billing Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Prior host/hostess or nightclub experience is a plus but not required; a passion for hospitality is essential Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering outstanding service in a refined setting.
