Part Time Personal Care Waitstaff Lead Hours:

4pm-7:30pm including every other weekend

POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for performing a variety of kitchen duties as directed by the supervisor. Perform duties in compliance with established Company policies and procedures and in a professional manner. Responsible for leading waitstaff in their designated job tasks as directed by the Healthcare Dining Supervisor/Manager.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Direct waitstaff meeting prior to dinner service, to ensure that waitstaff are familiar with the menu and any changes made. 2. Ensure that waitstaff complete pre-service responsibilities in an accurate and appropriate manner. 3. Assist waitstaff with meal service, checking that residents' diets and preferences are being met. 4. Do table touches with residents to see how their meal service experience has been. 5. Assist waitstaff in any corrections needed with resident's meals. 6. Ensure that waitstaff complete post-service responsibilities in an accurate and appropriate manner. 7. Check expiration dates on product daily, discard any items that are out of date. 8. Daily cleaning assignments as per schedule and/or as assigned by manager. 9. Attend scheduled meetings and in-services. 10. Adhere to department standard of dress. 11. Responsible for filling in a waitstaff position, if necessary, due to a call out. Position Requirements
