About Us:
Turks Head Wines was founded in 2022 and opened their Tasting Room summer 2024. Here at Turks Head, we strive to bring our high end, premium California wines to our local community in West Chester, Pennsylvania. Our goal is to create a team with a shared love of wine, a passion for food, customer service and a desire to create unique and lasting experiences that continue long after our guests leave our Tasting Room. About the
Role:
We are looking for enthusiastic, out-going individuals who thrive in a team-based environment and are interested in learning more about wine. The roles we are looking to hire are Front servers who will support our Wine Educators in providing exceptional service to our guests and members. You'll assist with opening and closing procedures and perform various tasks, such as restocking wine throughout the day, polishing glassware, running food, clearing tables, getting orders fulfilled and assisting with the general flow of the tasting room. You will also learn from the Wine Educators about wine service, knowledge and the industry overall. Paid Employee Training will begin in July with an expected Grand Opening in August. Server minimum hourly plus tips Responsibilities include: Assist the Wine Educators/Servers in delivering exceptional service to guests and members Assist with guest requests and food orders Run food to tables and assists with clearing tables Tidy up tables, counters and other areas Collect empty glasses and bottles Restock glass, wines and cleaning supplies. Change out wine kegs and replace wine bottles Remove trash and wipe down drink spills Refill ice bins Clean rags throughout the shift Ensure the staff has freshly polished glass throughout the day Skills include: Team player and relationship driven Strong willingness to help others and provide excellent guest experiences Proficiency in food handling procedures Familiarity with hospitality industry practices
Requirements:
Must be 18+ Open availability HS Diploma or GED Must be willing to work weekends Adhere to House Policies/PLCB/RAMP guidelines for safe service for guests Be able to lift 40 LBS Able to stand, walk, and talk for extended periods as job duties require Be able to function within a team based environment
