Job Description

Front Server / Tasting Room Support - Turks Head Wines About Turks Head Wines Turks Head Wines was established in 2022 and will officially open its Tasting Room in the summer of 2024 in West Chester, Pennsylvania. Our mission is to introduce our community to premium California wines in a welcoming and hospitality-driven environment. We believe great wine experiences come from great people. Our team is built around a shared appreciation for wine, food, and exceptional service. Every guest who walks through our doors should leave with a memorable experience that lasts long after their visit. Position Overview Turks Head Wines is seeking friendly, motivated individuals to join our tasting room team as Front Servers. This role works alongside our Wine Educators to ensure every guest receives attentive service and enjoys a smooth, welcoming tasting room experience. Front Servers support the day-to-day operations of the tasting room by assisting with guest service, maintaining organization throughout service, and helping the team keep the space running efficiently. This position is also a great opportunity to learn about wine service and the hospitality industry directly from experienced Wine Educators. Employee training will begin in July in preparation for our anticipated grand opening in August. Compensation includes hourly pay plus tips. Key Responsibilities Support Wine Educators and Servers in delivering exceptional hospitality to guests and members Assist guests with requests and help coordinate food orders Deliver food to tables and assist with clearing dishes and glassware Maintain clean and organized tables, counters, and service areas Collect used glasses, bottles, and other service items Restock glassware, wine inventory, and cleaning supplies throughout the shift Replace empty wine bottles and assist with changing wine kegs Remove trash and quickly clean spills or messes in service areas Refill ice bins and maintain bar readiness Maintain clean service towels and rags during service Ensure polished glassware is available for the service team at all times Skills & Qualities Strong team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude Commitment to providing excellent guest experiences Willingness to assist wherever needed during service Familiarity with food handling and basic hospitality practices Interest in learning more about wine and the hospitality industry Requirements Must be at least 18 years old High School Diploma or GED required Weekend availability required Must follow all house policies and
PLCB/RAMP
guidelines for responsible alcohol service Ability to lift up to 40 pounds Comfortable standing and moving for extended periods during shifts Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
Pay:
$21.20 - $25.54 per hour
