Duties:
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant
- Escort guests to their assigned tables or waiting areas
- Provide menus and inform guests of daily specials
- Assist in seating guests and ensuring proper table rotation
- Take and relay accurate food and beverage orders to the kitchen staff
- Answer phone calls and provide information or take reservations
- Maintain a clean and organized host/host station
- Monitor the dining area for seating availability, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction
- Collaborate with servers, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in hospitality or guest relations is preferred
- Knowledge of restaurant operations and procedures is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations with calmness and professionalism
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Please note that this position may require standing for long periods of time and occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.
