Ice Cream Server Associate

Customer Service:

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting flavors, cones, cups, toppings, and specialty items.
• Provide recommendations and answer questions about ingredients, allergens, and promotions.
• Handle special requests (e.

g., dietary restrictions) with care.

Food Preparation & Presentation:

• Scoop, assemble, and serve ice cream products neatly and efficiently.
• Maintain visually appealing displays of products, toppings, and signage.
• Ensure portion control and adherence to recipes/standards.

Hygiene & Safety:

• Follow health department regulations for food handling, sanitation, and storage.
• Clean workspaces and equipment regularly.
• Monitor product temperatures to ensure quality and safety.

Transactions & Cash Handling:

• Operate the POS system, process payments (cash, credit, mobile), and provide accurate change.
• Upsell promotions, combo deals, or seasonal specials.

Inventory & Stock Management:

• Restock toppings, cones, napkins, and other supplies as needed.
• Alert management to low inventory or equipment issues.

Team Collaboration:

• Work cohesively with team members to maintain smooth operations during peak hours.
• Assist with opening/closing duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Prior food service, retail, or customer service experience (preferred but not required).
• Friendly, outgoing personality with strong communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions.
• Comfort standing for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
