Job Summary Join our vibrant team as a Server at our renowned restaurant in York, PA! As a server, you will be the friendly face that enhances our guests' dining experience, ensuring they feel welcomed, valued, and satisfied from start to finish. Duties Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring quick and correct entry Recommend menu items and upsell specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness Manage cash handling, billing, and cashiering responsibilities accurately using POS systems like OpenTable and Food industry software Assist with food handling, sanitation, and food safety protocols to uphold health standards Support kitchen staff by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and ensuring a smooth flow of service during busy hours Requirements Prior restaurant or food service experience, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs or upscale restaurants Proficiency with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable; experience with Food industry software is a plus Strong customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle guest inquiries professionally Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and basic food handling procedures Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume shifts Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and billing accurately Previous host/hostess or serving experience is highly desirable; culinary or kitchen experience is a bonus Join us to deliver exceptional service in a lively environment where your energy makes a difference!
