Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Server to join our vibrant food service team as we are a newly opening restaurant! Duties Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere from the moment they arrive Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems, ensuring quick and precise entry Provide detailed menu descriptions and upsell specials or premium items to enhance guest experience and increase sales Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities, while maintaining accountability for all payments Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations by bussing tables and assisting with sanitation practices in compliance with food safety standards Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, supporting overall restaurant operations Engage with guests to foster positive relationships, address inquiries or concerns promptly, and ensure guest satisfaction throughout their visit Requirements Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or nightclub experience Strong knowledge of POS systems such as for order processing and sales tracking Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking seamlessly Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and performing simple calculations Knowledge of food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations to ensure guest health and safety Experience with food preparation or kitchen operations is a plus but not required Familiarity with upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members including hosts/hostesses and kitchen staff Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed Join us as a Server where your passion for hospitality will shine!
