Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and attentive Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. In this role, you will be the face of our restaurant, delivering exceptional guest experiences through friendly service, expert knowledge, and efficient operations. Your enthusiasm for food and beverage, combined with your ability to connect with guests, will create memorable dining moments. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with a positive attitude Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Provide detailed menu descriptions, including wine and spirits options, to enhance guest choices Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation Upsell menu items, including cocktails, wines, and specialty dishes to maximize sales opportunities Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met during food handling and serving Process transactions efficiently using POS systems, handle cash or credit card payments accurately Assist with bussing tables, resetting for new guests, and supporting kitchen staff when needed Maintain excellent guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and professionally Support opening or closing procedures as required, including cleaning and organizing service areas Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially fine dining preferred Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for reservations management Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest satisfaction and sales revenue Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and food industry standards Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Basic math skills for cashiering, sales transactions processing, and change handling Food safety certification and understanding of sanitation practices in food handling Previous experience in serving or host/hostess roles is advantageous but not required; a passion for hospitality is essential Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to creating exceptional dining experiences.
