In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere from the moment they arrive. You'll also help ensure that food reaches tables promptly and accurately, supporting our servers and kitchen staff to deliver an outstanding dining experience. Responsibilities Greet guests with a cheerful attitude, manage reservations, and seat guests efficiently to minimize wait times. Assist guests with seating arrangements, answer questions about the menu, and provide friendly guest relations. Support servers by delivering food from the kitchen to tables quickly and accurately as a Food Runner. Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including resetting tables and ensuring a tidy environment. Use POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders when necessary and assist with basic cash handling. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to coordinate service flow smoothly. Uphold excellent phone etiquette when taking reservations or answering guest inquiries over the phone. Qualifications Previous experience as a host/hostess or in food service is preferred but not required. Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor to connect with diverse guests. Knowledge of restaurant operations, including POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Hospitality or hotel experience is a plus, especially in guest services or guest relations roles. Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to ensure positive guest interactions. A team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn and support colleagues across departments.
