COMPANY PROFILE
Since 1997, Patrick Properties has been restoring and preserving historic Charleston properties, including Parcel 32, The American Theater, The William Aiken House and Lowndes Grove. While we were at it, we crafted a tradition of warm, inviting hospitality that ensures our guests feel welcome, well-cared for and ever-ready to come back for more. With each event we host our focus is the oversight of our venues as well as the upscale food and beverage service we provide within them, requiring a keen eye for detail and the highest standard of customer service.
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Server position is a critical role in ensuring our events are successful. The ideal candidate is someone who wants to contribute to creating a positive, fun and exciting work experience. Prior food and beverage experience is preferred, but not required. Availability must include nights and weekends, with occasional holidays.

Staffing Manager & Event Managers
RESPONSIBILITIES EVENTS
Proper uniform and appearance standards - don't forget your smile and great attitude Proper food and beverage serving and dining room etiquette Setting up, replenishing and breaking down food displays, stations and rentals Clearing plates, flatware and glassware throughout the event Knowledge of PPHG beverage and culinary menus Knowledge and understanding of PPHG venues Accurately sign in and out with Banquet Captain and/or Manager
SCHEDULING REQUIREMENTS
Ability to meet seasonal shift minimums (including 1 Friday & 1 Sunday per month), as outlined below: o
Peak:
March 1st-June 30th (12 shifts) & September 1st-November 30th (9 shifts) o
Off-Peak:
December 1st-February 28th/29th (6 shifts) & July 1st-August 31st (4 shifts)
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Must be ServSafe Alcohol certified or able to obtain certification within the first 30 days of employment Prior food and beverage experience preferred Timeliness and flexible schedule, to include nights, weekend and occasional holidays Ability to follow Patrick Properties standards, policies and procedures Ability to be a clear thinker, analyze and resolve problems while working as a team Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds Ability to be on feet for extended periods of time Exert physical effort in transporting and placement of tables, chairs, glassware and china Must possess mature, professional demeanor to interact with vendors and team Ability to work without direct supervision and follow through to completion of assigned tasks
