The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests, managing reservations, and ensuring efficient seating arrangements. This role is crucial in providing exceptional customer service and enhancing the dining experience. •We are only hiring applicants who are available to work through USC breaks; this including being generally available to work on USC Spring Break, Graduation, and over the summer•Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables, ensuring a pleasant first impression. Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart to optimize table turnover. Answer phone calls with professionalism, providing information about the menu and making reservations as needed. Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Handle guest inquiries and concerns promptly, maintaining high standards of guest relations. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area. Utilize

TOAST POS

system for efficient order processing when necessary. Utilize Resy for reservation scheduling and organizing. Qualifications Previous experience as a Host or in a similar role within the food service or hospitality industry is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and relationship building. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly demeanor. Familiarity with POS systems; experience with Toast POS is a plus. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Experience in guest services or restaurant settings is advantageous. Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure while providing exceptional service.
