The Server is responsible for creating memorable dining experiences through attentive guest service, extensive menu knowledge, and a commitment to exceeding guest expectations. This role represents the Sea Pines Resort brand by providing warm, personalized service in a refined resort dining environment. Essential Responsibilities Deliver outstanding guest service consistent with luxury hospitality standards. Greet guests promptly and create a welcoming, engaging dining experience. Present menus, explain food and beverage offerings, and provide knowledgeable recommendations. Accurately take and enter guest orders while ensuring special requests and dietary needs are communicated effectively. Serve food and beverages in a professional, timely, and polished manner. Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests. Maintain strong knowledge of menu items, daily specials, wine selections, and resort offerings. Ensure dining areas are clean, organized, and presentation-ready at all times. Process guest payments accurately and efficiently. Collaborate with kitchen and service team members to ensure seamless operations. Resolve guest concerns with professionalism and escalate issues when appropriate. Uphold all health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol service standards. Qualifications Previous restaurant, resort, country club, or luxury hospitality experience preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and perform efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences. Professional appearance and demeanor. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and evenings. Must meet all state and local requirements for alcohol service, if applicable. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds. Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and move throughout the restaurant environment.
