Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and friendly Server/Cashier to join our vibrant food service team. In this dynamic role, you will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional guest experiences through attentive service, efficient cashiering, and a thorough understanding of our menu offerings. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will help create memorable dining moments for our guests while ensuring smooth restaurant operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your hospitality skills in a lively environment that values teamwork, food safety, and guest satisfaction. Duties Greet guests warmly and provide attentive table service, including taking orders, serving food and beverages, and addressing guest inquiries with enthusiasm. Operate POS systems such as Toast, Square POS and Micros POS accurately for order entry and cash handling. Manage cashier responsibilities by processing payments, giving correct change, and balancing cash drawers at shift end. Assist with food preparation, food handling, and sanitation to uphold food safety standards in accordance with health regulations. Support the team by bussing tables, cleaning dining areas, and ensuring a clean, organized workspace. Use OpenTable or similar reservation systems to manage guest bookings efficiently. Upsell menu items and specials to enhance sales and maximize guest satisfaction in a fine dining or nightclub setting. Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms is essential. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse situations professionally. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods while maintaining quality service. Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques. Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and billing purposes. Experience with serving, bussing, host/hostess duties, or food industry roles is advantageous. Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items effectively to increase sales opportunities.
