Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Worker to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, a passion for the food industry, and the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff. Duties Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly and ensuring their dining experience is enjoyable. Take food and beverage orders accurately using genius/ mobile bytes or Micros POS systems. Assist with food preparation and presentation, ensuring adherence to food safety and sanitation standards. Upsell menu items and promote daily specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including bussing tables and ensuring all surfaces are sanitized. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders while maintaining quality standards. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math for processing payments. Support host/host duties as needed, including managing reservations through OpenTable. Engage with guests to build rapport and enhance their overall dining experience. Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred, particularly in fine dining or nightclub environments. Familiarity with food handling practices, sanitation protocols, and culinary techniques is advantageous. Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during peak hours. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members. Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing are essential. Experience with guest services and relations will be beneficial in creating memorable experiences for patrons.
