Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food and hospitality industry, with experience in various settings such as restaurants, nightclubs, or banquets. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere while serving beverages and providing excellent customer service to our guests. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring all supplies are stocked and equipment is in good working order. Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders accurately, and responding to inquiries about menu items. Process transactions using a cash register, handling cash and credit card payments efficiently. Monitor guest consumption of alcohol responsibly and adhere to all legal regulations regarding alcohol service. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders when applicable. Assist in the setup and breakdown of banquet events or special occasions as needed. Uphold health and safety standards in accordance with local regulations. Qualifications Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality sector is preferred, particularly in bartending roles within restaurants or nightclubs. Strong time management skills to handle busy shifts effectively while maintaining quality service. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. Familiarity with retail math concepts is a plus for managing inventory and supplies. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. A positive attitude and willingness to help team members as needed. Knowledge of cocktail recipes and drink preparation techniques is highly desirable.
