Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements, providing a welcoming first impression. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring special requests are noted and communicated clearly to the kitchen. Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation. Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities. Monitor tables throughout the dining experience, promptly addressing guest needs, refilling drinks, and checking on satisfaction levels. Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering systems, process payments, and give correct change. Maintain cleanliness of tables, assist with bussing, and support food preparation or kitchen tasks when needed to ensure smooth operations. Use reservation management tools like OpenTable to coordinate bookings and optimize seating flow during busy hours. Uphold food safety standards by following sanitation protocols and proper food handling procedures. Foster positive guest relations by providing attentive service, resolving issues promptly, and creating a welcoming atmosphere in both fine dining settings and lively nightclub environments. Requirements Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including serving in fine dining or nightclub settings preferred. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously. Ability to manage multiple tables efficiently through effective time management and organizational skills. Experience with upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while enhancing guest satisfaction. Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and transaction processing. Previous experience with reservation systems like OpenTable is a plus. Knowledge of food industry terminology including culinary terms, food preparation basics, and beverage service standards. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by hospitality operations.
