Coastal eatery looking for 3 servers. Apply in person 203 sea mountain highway. Must be 21 years old
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Server to join our team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. - Greet and seat guests in a timely and friendly manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
- Deliver food and beverages to tables promptly
- Ensure guest satisfaction by providing attentive and personalized service
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area
- Handle cash transactions and process payments using POS systems
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation
- Upsell menu items and promote specials to maximize sales
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods
- Address guest inquiries, concerns, or complaints with professionalism and empathy
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Server in a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Proficient in using OpenTable or similar reservation management software
- Strong cash handling skills and ability to perform basic math calculations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for guest relations
- Familiarity with Aloha POS system is a plus
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail in order accuracy and presentation of food and beverages
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
