Job Overview Join our dynamic team as an Expo/Food Runner, where your energy and enthusiasm will help deliver exceptional dining experiences! In this vital role, you will act as the bridge between the kitchen and the front of house, ensuring that food reaches guests promptly, accurately, and beautifully presented. Your proactive attitude and attention to detail will contribute to a lively, efficient, and guest-focused environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality skills while working in a fast-paced, energetic setting. Responsibilities Safely transport food from the kitchen to dining areas, ensuring timely delivery Verify orders for accuracy and presentation before serving guests Assist with food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen staff Clear and reset tables efficiently, maintaining cleanliness and organization Communicate effectively with servers, chefs, and management to coordinate service flow Handle food handling responsibilities in accordance with food safety standards Support the restaurant team during busy periods by bussing tables and managing guest needs Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred but not required Knowledge of food handling and safety procedures essential for maintaining hygiene standards Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Strong communication skills and a friendly, guest-oriented attitude Ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods in a fast-paced setting Experience in banquet service, catering, or hotel hospitality is advantageous Basic culinary knowledge or kitchen experience can enhance performance in this role Join us if you're passionate about hospitality, eager to learn, and ready to contribute to memorable guest experiences!
