Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Staff to join our team in providing exceptional service in a fast casual environment which serves wood-fired pizza, Italian inspired antipasto and salad options along with a wide range of local craft beer and fine wine. The ideal candidates will possess a passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer experiences. This role is essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while ensuring that all service standards are met. This is the perfect role for a college student looking to gain experience in the Charleston hospitality industry while working in a laid back and fun atmosphere. Responsibilities Greet guests at our ordering window promptly, ensuring a warm and inviting tone. Take and process customer orders accurately, providing recommendations as needed through our Toast POS system. Serve food and beverages in accordance with established service standards. Assist with ensuring proper food handling practices are followed and presentation is up to our standards as items come out of the kitchen before being taken to guests. Maintain cleanliness and organization of your work spaces including tables, chairs, and service stations outside. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Handle guest inquiries and communicate with management to resolve any issues or complaints with professionalism. Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene. Skills Previous restaurant experience is preferred, showcasing an understanding of fast casual service expectations. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Experience in serving within the food industry. Knowledge of dietary aide practices is advantageous for accommodating guest needs. Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset are essential for success in this role. A commitment to maintaining food safety standards throughout all operations. This position's pay is based on an hourly rate plus tips.
Pay:
$12.00 - $22.00 per hour
