Food Server

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Food Server and bring exceptional dining experiences to our guests! In this lively role, you will be the friendly face that greets guests, takes orders, and ensures every meal is served with enthusiasm and professionalism. Your energy and attention to detail will create memorable moments that keep guests coming back. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements, providing a welcoming atmosphere. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS. Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation practices. Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales, utilizing knowledge of the menu and specials. Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction. Clear tables, bussing dishes swiftly to maintain cleanliness and readiness for new guests. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, supporting food safety standards at all times. Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering systems, including cash handling and basic math calculations. Use openTable or other reservation management tools to coordinate guest seating efficiently. Maintain cleanliness of service areas, adhering to sanitation regulations and food safety guidelines. Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, with a strong foundation in customer service excellence. Familiarity with POS Knowledge of food industry standards including food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols. Ability to multitask effectively in fast-paced settings while managing time efficiently. Strong communication skills to engage guests confidently and work seamlessly with team members. Experience in fine dining. Demonstrated upselling skills to enhance sales opportunities through menu recommendations. Previous host/hostess or bussing experience is beneficial for understanding guest flow management.
